Daleks - enemy of the Doctor, they scared the wits out of Children right up until the series (almost) final demise. Happily, there is a whole load of new kids enjoying the Daleks.

Daleks, created by Terry Nation in the 1960’s is quite indicative of design of the time. There are rings (much loved in sci-fi imagery of the time - and lampooned well in Futurama) around the eye piece and around the head. The ever popular 1960’s big circles are evident in the hemispheres. These reflect the internal look of the TARDIS - a link that may not be immediately obvious, but a visual cue that links the TARDIS and the Daleks and which ultimately says “Dr Who”. I was really pleased to see that both have been kept in the new series.

For your delight – a radio controlled Dalek. Stands 12" high, this mechanical monster trundles around the house bewildering the cats and shouting “Exterminate” in a truly irate manner.

Hours of fun for all. Except the cats.
